AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.
The Suffolk Virginia Branch was founded in 1959. We currently have 20 members, three are honorary lifetime members who have been members for 50 or more years and one of our members is a charter member. In 2018, the Suffolk Branch was awarded a certificate and a check for $30 for “Most New Members” by having 12 new members.
